Semi-beavertail forearm with barrel band typically used on the Stevens 417 "Walnut Hill" rifle. We do not have the attaching hardware for this forearm, so if you do not have the barrel band we suggest using the Stevens 418 forearm instead though you may need to drill another attaching hole in your barrel.
Be sure to enter the shape of your barrel as well as the diameter at the frame and at the end of the forearm. If you have an early Favorite part-octagon barrel with the bottom under the forearm rounded please let us know and we will make it as close as we can. Please also note requests such as a special location for the attaching hole. In most cases we cannot make forearms without attaching holes.
Forearms are 98% shaped and inlet. Forearms are is typically left 1/8" long so you can trim it for an exact fit. Channels are generally cut within .010" and about .060" extra wood is left on outside surface for final sanding.
