Pistol grip stock offhand stock for the Sharps Borchardt model 1878 Sporting Rifle. Please be sure to check the tangs on your rifle- this stock is for a sporting action with long lower tang and smaller frame. Head of stock is appx. 1.325" wide and 1.720" tall. Lower tang is 3.25" long and slimmer than military Borchardt.
Buttstock is 98% shaped and inlet.

Warning! Due to the original design of the Borchardt stocks, which this pattern follows very closely, the stock bolt hole is very close to the surface in the pistol grip area. When sanding this stock, do not remove any more wood in this area than necessary to clean it up, as excessive sanding will break through into the bolt hole. Should this happen, be advised that the product warranty is void, and no refund will be made.
