Pistol grip stock offhand stock for the Sharps Borchardt model 1878 Military rifle. Please check your tangs. This stock is for the military version with short wide tangs appx. 1.375" long and .550" wide. Head of stock is roughly 1.920" tall and 1.430" wide. This stock can be modified to remove the cheek piece at an extra charge.
Buttstock is 98% shaped and inlet.

Warning! Due to the original design of the Borchardt stocks, which this pattern follows very closely, the stock bolt hole is very close to the surface in the pistol grip area. When sanding this stock, do not remove any more wood in this area than necessary to clean it up, as excessive sanding will break through into the bolt hole. Should this happen, be advised that the product warranty is void, and no refund will be made.
